The truth is, we clean our teeth to eliminate gum infections. Healthy gums are naturally pink and form a line around the teeth. Inflamed gums, on the other hand, appear as swollen areas between the teeth, characterized by a dark red color, which is a result of blood congestion in those areas. It is normal for the inflamed areas to bleed when brushed, but this does not mean that the bleeding will recur every day.
